After quite a while, I actually got around to checking my blog stats. You know, the most narcissistic of all activities: how many people read me? How popular am I? Will there be a post that actually gets more than 100 hits?
Oh yes indeedy, there is. And guess what? My most watched post is my previous single-sentence lament on why an even previouser post got so many hits, with my theory being that people google "motherhumping" and wind up at this blog. For some reason. Now, me including "motherhumping" in that post has now made it the most viewed entry on this blog.
By a factor of 20.
What the hell is wrong with people? If you are so into humping your mother, why not move to Arkansas and do it? (My apologies to all non-motherhumping Arkansans, I love your state. Well, no I don't -- I wouldn't know Arkansas from a hole in the ground nor would I particularly care if or when one gets turned into the other... my point is really that I truly do not mean to offend. To put it another way, it was just a joke. Deal with it.)
Now let's see how many hits this post attracts; I've mentioned motherhumping three times already. Well, four including that little description of how many times I mentioned motherhumping so far. Okay, that makes it five. Perhaps a hint that this post should come to an end.
